This morning we interviewed Clementine who is going to More House School.
Next school: More House School
How did you find the 11+?
I found it a lot of work but when I did do well, and I usually know when I do well, I felt really good. I thought that I would get into my school, and then I was confident for the next school’s exams.
What has been your favourite subject at Parsons Green Prep and why?
Probably English, just because we were always doing really fun things in it, playing fun games and I love writing and thinking of new ideas for my stories.
What after-school club or activity have you enjoyed the most?
Sewing Sensations. I like this club because I really like making useful, practical things and that’s mainly what sewing is all about.
What has been your greatest achievement here?
Probably being vice-captain of Livingstone, one of the houses. Because I feel like I am responsible for a lot of people and I like helping them with whatever they need.
What will you miss most?
Definitely my friends and the teachers, just because they are so fun, the activities are so fun and I just love having great friends.
What’s your favourite memory of Parsons Green Prep?
We went on a ski trip two weeks ago and it was amazing. It was really exciting being in an airport but with my school and then being in a new country with them. All the things we did were really fun, like bowling, waterparks and swimming.
How do you feel about going to your new school?
I am excited but I am not scared because my sister is there and my best friend is there too. It’s a really homely school because it’s small and there are lots of girls and the food is really yummy.
What are you most looking forward to at your new school?
The music. I absolutely love singing and there are so many fun choirs there. They are always going to different places to sing in front of important people. My sister went to Rome and sang in front of the Pope.
What would you like to do professionally?
I really want to open a café and be a cook, and also write children’s books and gradually over the years I will move on to books for adults.
