Today in our series of Year 6 leavers’ interviews we speak with Ludo, discussing everything from his favourite after-school club to why he wants to be a football player.

Next school: Eaton Square

How did you find the 11+?
I found it quite challenging. We had homework and were doing 11+ revision at the same time. The teachers helped me a lot though.

What has been your favourite subject at Parsons Green Prep and why?
Science, because I like doing experiments and I found a lot of the topics very interesting. I really liked evolution.

What after-school club or activity have you enjoyed the most?
Chess, because I find it quite relaxing and enjoyable. A good memory was the first game I played because I expected to be really bad but I won really quickly.

What has been your greatest achievement here?
When I did my first ever football tournament and we came second. We played Eaton Square. I played midfield. I had a really good time.

What will you miss most?
The teachers because they are always nice and they help me a lot.

What’s your favourite memory of Parsons Green Prep?
The first day that I came to school. I remember walking in and I was hugging my dad because I was used to being with him. As soon as I got inside I made lots of friends.

How do you feel about going to your new school?
I am quite nervous because I don’t often use public transport and its quite far away but I am excited to meet all the new people.

What are you most looking forward to at your new school?
The science, because I have heard that we will being doing a lot of this and I really like science.

What would you like to do professionally?
I would like to be a lawyer because it’s not like a football player when you have to do a lot of training. You don’t have to do as much training to be a lawyer.
