In the third of our series of quick Q&A interviews with our local nurseries, we catch up with the Madisson Nursery (www.themadissonnursery.com), just over the road at 726-728 Fulham Road.
How many children does your nursery take?
We are registered to accept 79 children aged from 3 months to 5 years.
What’s new at the nursery?
The Madisson Nursery offers flexible hours for parents alongside early and late drop-offs. Our nursery offers extra activities lead by specialised teachers which include music, singing, ballet and hip-hop. We value the importance of first-hand experiences for the children so educational visits are an essential part of our curriculum.
What indoor facilities do you have?
Indoor facilities include 5 spacious rooms plus a large garden room where the children have space to move around freely in a secure environment. Each room provides a stimulating environment conducive to Early Years development and they are fully equipped with age-related resources.
What outdoor facilities do you have?
We are very fortunate to have a large outdoor garden which promotes physical development for all the children. We have a substantial climbing frame, a musical hut, sensory play and a growing area where the children can tend to their plants and vegetables.
What’s the best bit about your nursery?
The distinctive element of our nursery is that it is a one-off individual nursery run by experienced and highly qualified staff. The Madisson has created a family atmosphere within a homely setting. We are also delighted to have an on-site chef offering homemade and balanced meals using locally sourced ingredients.
Who is the best contact there?
Helen (nursery manager) or Zori (deputy manager) on 020 7371 7274 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
