Four of our children recently attended Putney High’s second Breathe conference. This event is designed to build awareness, understanding and appreciation of our environment both at school, locally and on a wider level. The children planted daffodil bulbs, worked with Year 7 and Year 8 pupils to do a traffic survey, then used a spreadsheet formula to calculate emission levels and plot on a map the cleanest air at the school. They also watched drama recitals, did some singing and met a mindfulness therapy dog. Many thanks to Putney High for a fascinating day.
