Pupil helps raise £40,000 for local hospital charity

Well done to this PGP pupil and the Hammersmith & Fulham Rugby Club (including another former PGP child who joined in from Ireland). The club held a charity event last week for Friends of Charing Cross Hospital. They virtually passed the ball from Twickenham in London to Murrayfield in Edinburgh, a distance of 535km requiring 110,000 passes made from the players’ own gardens. The campaign was backed by Sir Clive Woodward and other stars including Dan Carter, Joe Wicks, Danny Care, Kirsty Gallagher, Billy Vunipola and Sir Mo Farah. Our pupil and his dad contributed an amazing 2,500 passes and in total £40,000 was raised for the charity. What a great achievement!
