Full STEAM Ahead Club discovers bubble art

The Full STEAM Ahead club members were challenged to paint with just air. The children discovered that by mixing paint, washing-up liquid and just the right amount of water, you could then blow colourful bubbles and print these onto paper to create wonderful patterns. There were so many STEAM principles included in this activity: forces and energy (the harder they blew, the bigger the bubbles), mixing materials, creating patterns and shapes and colour mixing. The results were beautiful.
