The U11 netball team travelled to Braywick Leisure Centre to compete in this year’s ISA London West U11 Netball tournament. PGP had an excellent first round match against Claires Court School who, after conceding three goals, fought back to score two of their own. PGP subsequently played two fantastic matches against Sherfield School and Waverley Prep and won both matches 4-0.
We then had the toughest test of the year, losing 13-2 to Broomfield House after some excellent netball and shooting from the opposition. PGP produced an improved performance against Sherborne House but lost 7-0. Needing a win to qualify for the second round play-offs, PGP rebounded and won 3-1 against Highfield Prep, taking the fourth spot in Group A.
In the knockout stages PGP lost their next match against Holme Grange School 4-2. We lost the 7th and 8th place final in our last match to Claires Court, with a repeat score of 3-2. Well done to everyone for a fantastic team effort and thank you to Claires Court School for hosting us.
