Welcome to Parsons Green Prep.
It is my privilege to lead a school that combines academic excellence with a deep commitment to the happiness and wellbeing of every child. Parsons Green Prep is a place where children are known as individuals, encouraged to be ambitious and given the confidence to embrace challenges, discover their strengths and develop a genuine love of learning.
The very best schools nurture the whole child. Academic success is important and our pupils are exceptionally well prepared for the next stage of their education. Equally important, however, is the development of character: kindness, resilience, curiosity and integrity. Our aim is that every child leaves PGP not only with strong academic foundations, but also with the confidence and self-belief to thrive in an ever-changing world.
The aspect that makes our school particularly special is its sense of community. As a proudly independent school with a single proprietor, we know our pupils exceptionally well and provide the individual attention that allows each child to flourish. The relationships between pupils, staff and families are central to school life and create an environment in which children feel secure, supported and valued.
I am especially proud that our most recent ISI inspection recognised pupils’ emotional wellbeing as a Significant Strength of the school. This rare accolade reflects the importance we place on ensuring that every child feels happy, understood and able to succeed. Inspectors noted the exceptional impact of the school’s wellbeing provision and the maturity with which pupils understand both their own emotional wellbeing and that of others.
There is a wonderful energy about PGP, a school where children are encouraged to think independently, participate fully and make the most of every opportunity. It is a community built on respect, where childhood is celebrated and where pupils are inspired to achieve their very best.
I would be delighted to welcome you to the school and share with you the many qualities that make it such a happy and inspiring place to learn.
