Open Day
Our next Open Day will be on Saturday 19 September 2026. Please contact us by email at admissions@parsonsgreenprep.co.uk or by telephone on 020 7371 9009 to book your place.
Tours
We offer tours of the school in term time and these enable parents to visit PGP during a typical school day. The Admissions office will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding the admissions process.
Admissions Process:
EYFS (Reception) Admissions process
The process is:
- Email admissions@parsonsgreenprep.co.uk or call 0207 371 9009
- Visit the school
- Fill out the registration form
- Play Date arranged
- Nursery reports requested
- Deposit requested if place offered
A year prior to entry we will invite your child to a play-based assessment (known as a Play Date) in school. This is an opportunity for us to meet your child and for them to get to know PGP – no preparation is required. This is to ascertain if an offer of a place at PGP is in your child’s best interests. Prior to making an offer, we will contact the nursery for a general report on your child’s progress.
We welcome children into our Reception class in the September after their fourth birthday. The school takes great care to make new children and parents feel at home quickly. The children are invited on two occasions in June prior to starting school to meet their new teachers and friends in the classroom. Parents will have the opportunity to meet new parents as well as current parents and are invited to an introduction evening.

Years 1–6 Admissions process
Parents are welcome to register their children to join us from Year 1 and upwards by joining the school waiting list. You will need to complete PGP’s registration form and provide us with your child’s most recent school report; we may also take up a reference from their current school. When a place becomes available, we will invite your child into school for a taster day. We aim to ensure that your child has the very best transition between their current school and PGP. If an offer is made and accepted, new pupils are invited to a ‘meet the teacher’ session in order to meet their teacher and class friends, thus starting the induction process.
