Chamber Choir

A number of our most musically gifted pupils will be invited to join the Chamber Choir. We cover a broad range of music, from traditional choral pieces to modern jazz and musicals. We even sing songs that we have written together. Our members are taught how to sing in harmony and rounds and everyone is given the opportunity to audition for solos or duets. Our performances are the highlight of our year. On top of the annual choir concert and the Christmas production, we regularly perform in school assemblies. This year we have been serving the local community, singing in nursing homes. We also have exciting plans to collaborate with other schools. Our choir is led by a professional singer, whose expertise blends together a wide range of musical techniques and nurtures the growing talent of the children at Parsons Green Prep.
