Sewing Sensations is an imaginative afternoon club which is open to girls and boys in Years 3 to 6. We study textiles in a fun and relaxed atmosphere and the children design and create a number of different projects to take home and keep. They develop a wide range of sewing skills and techniques, including weaving and embroidery, and creativity and individual expression are encouraged. Children also enjoy taking time and care over their unique creations. They feel a sense of achievement taking home works which they can be proud of and this adds to the benefits of developing good hand-eye coordination as useful skills for life. A prize is given for each sewing project at the end of the term.

Our latest news is:
1. We had our best-ever 11+ results this year (our cohort of 13 received 65 offers, achieved 6 scholarships and went to schools including St Paul’s Girls, Wimbledon High and Godolphin and Latymer)
2. We passed all areas of our ISI inspection in May, achieving a 'significant strength' in pastoral care and wellbeing throughout the school.
3. We have just appointed our brilliant Deputy Head, Miss Beth, to become our new Head at PGP in 2026.
