Ukulele

In Ukulele club we learn the basic chords including C, F, G and A minor. The children can put their exciting new skills to the test, singing songs like Frere Jacques, together with a whole host of other children’s songs from pop and folk music to Bob Dylan, Bob Marley and the Beatles, as well as Christmas songs. They learn to strum with a steady beat, to play together and to change quickly between chords. All children from Year 1 up are welcome to show off their new skills in music and class assemblies. Ukulele club is a great opportunity for your child to get involved in music. Children who develop a love for the ukulele can even take their skills forward and move on to the guitar in the future.
