On Tuesday Year 5 went back in time and explored life in Ancient Greece by visiting the British Museum. The day began with a tablet tour of the Parthenon. Using the British Museum's excellent virtual reality software, pupils explored the different parts of the Parthenon, recreated some of the famous statues, used virtual spray paint to colour the friezes and learnt key vocabulary from that time. In the afternoon Year 5 examined other artefacts from this period, including Greek pottery. It was a wonderful and very informative trip.
