Miss Ferne joined PGP in September 2021 as Head of Admissions following a career in property. Originally starting out as an estate agent, she then worked as a legal secretary for many years before obtaining her Legal Executive qualifications in her early thirties, specialising in conveyancing and affordable housing development. Miss Ferne is the first point of contact for prospective parents looking for a place at the school.

PGP's Number Day was a brilliant celebration of all things mathematical across the school. It was a fantastic day filled with energy, teamwork and curiosity. In Pre-Prep children took part in fun classroom shape hunts and learnt catchy songs to help remember key mathematical concepts. They enjoyed a range of games that tested their knowledge of addition, times tables, odd and even numbers and comparing quantities using more or less than.
Over in Prep, pupils rose to the challenge of solving mysterious clues in exciting escape room-style activities, working collaboratively to crack problems using their reasoning skills. Some also took part in a fast-paced quiz inspired by Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, putting their maths knowledge to the test. The enthusiasm for maths was clear to see, with brilliant number-themed costumes, colourful outfits and smiles all round. A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day so enjoyable!
