Reception shared their learning with their adults recently. As part of our Space topic, the children were able to explore how astronauts live in space. In their pairings, they made their own International Space Station. They had to plan, design and assemble materials to create their own liveable place in space. Excellent teamwork everybody.

We are very proud of one of our amazing Year 6 pupils, who recently had a stall at the Children’s Business Fair Pop-up in Guildford. Former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and wife Akshata Murty attended the fair in celebration of National Numeracy Day, which is today.
Rishi and Akshata spent over 90 minutes speaking with (and buying from) each of the young entrepreneurs. Akshata was particularly taken by our pupil’s 'Pearl Experience' and passion for ocean preservation. Her business supports a charity called the PADI Aware Foundation (www.padi.com/aware) to help protect the marine environment. She became very keen on this after she became a certified PADI Open Water diver during the last half-term.
Sam Rogerson, the founder of Children’s Business Fair UK, commented: ‘This Parsons Green Prep pupil is an outstanding young entrepreneur and proved an excellent ambassador to her school. She's a true demonstration of what’s possible when young people are given the chance to lead, create and shine.’
