One of our Year 5 pupils ran 7km during Fulham Reach Boat Club’s Festive River Run just before Christmas. Fulham Reach Boat Club is a sports development charity in Hammersmith that aims to utilise the power of sport, particularly rowing, to positively impact the lives of disadvantaged and marginalised communities in London. She looped from Riverside Studios by Hammersmith Bridge to Putney Bridge and back again. It was Christmas-themed with festive music, hot chocolate and a gold medal at the end for everyone who participated. She completed the run with ease and was the youngest participant running. Well done – a tremendous achievement!
