There has been some great art going on lately in Fulham. Year 1 have been learning about primary and secondary colours and practising their colour mixing skills. Year 2 used pastels to create fiery backgrounds for their Great Fire of London artwork. Good work everyone!

We are very proud of one of our amazing Year 6 pupils, who recently had a stall at the Children’s Business Fair Pop-up in Guildford. Former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and wife Akshata Murty attended the fair in celebration of National Numeracy Day, which is today.
Rishi and Akshata spent over 90 minutes speaking with (and buying from) each of the young entrepreneurs. Akshata was particularly taken by our pupil’s 'Pearl Experience' and passion for ocean preservation. Her business supports a charity called the PADI Aware Foundation (www.padi.com/aware) to help protect the marine environment. She became very keen on this after she became a certified PADI Open Water diver during the last half-term.
Sam Rogerson, the founder of Children’s Business Fair UK, commented: ‘This Parsons Green Prep pupil is an outstanding young entrepreneur and proved an excellent ambassador to her school. She's a true demonstration of what’s possible when young people are given the chance to lead, create and shine.’
