Year 1 became knights in a dubbing ceremony at the Tower of London, learning what it was like to live in a castle during the medieval period. We explored The White Tower built by William the Conqueror in the early 1080s after the Battle of Hastings, and we even found the dragon at the top of the tower. Many steps were climbed. The children were wowed by the crown jewels and the lavish coat of arms in the King’s bedroom. We also spotted the six ravens. A superstition holds that if the Tower of London ravens fly away the Crown will fall.

Year 3 had a fantastic time on residential at Woodrow High House. It was three days packed full of fun, laughter and adventure. It was so great to see them pushing themselves out of their comfort zone and working together on team-building exercises.
